Barca midfielder Xavi Hernandez is yet to sign a new deal and with Premiership teams keenly following the player it raises the question of how important he is to the team.
Although he is likely to agree a new contract and is just holding out for better money, his agent was seen in London yesterday and there is plenty of newspaper speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United who are looking for cover with Paul Scholes coming to the end of his career.
Xavi has been a key player for Barcelona in recent seasons, a reliable ball player in midfield, but now his position is not as vital as before with Pep Guardiola bringing in quality youngsters from Barca B. The Catalan player though can still offer plenty as was shown by the way he was named the player of the tournament at last summer's European Championships.
Would you sell Xavi?
